For every business owner, getting more paying customers is what keeps the business afloat. Getting customers names, emails and contact details is the way forward to keeping in touch with customers. Without this information you will be losing out on the opportunity to tell them about what more you could offer them. Customers want to know more of what you have to offer especially if they have already bought something from you. It keeps you in their mind should they want to buy something more or even tell their friends/family about you.
Networking is another way of meeting potential customers. You can meet, talk and exchange business cards and if you’re savvy, offer them something that allows them to sample what you do or sell for free. If they like what they get they’ll be back for more.
Being proactive in meeting potential customers is key to making sure that as many people as possible get to know that you are out there. Don’t keep yourself hidden away, be brave and proud of what you have to offer and go out there and share your expertise.
Build a simple referral system for your existing customers so that you make it easy for them to tell all their friends and family about what you offer. But don’t forget to show them that you value what you have to offer and if they do too then ask them to refer you on and they will. You could even go that extra mile and reward them for any referrals they send your way. That will go a long way in strengthening your relationship with them.
More customers, means more profit, and ultimately bringing your business dream into fruition.
